Eleven years ago today.

I didn’t have a job (a month prior, I lost the clerkship I had all year because the judge became the dean of a law school).

I interviewed with who would become my judge the day before.

I got the job about one week later, moved to Wisconsin about three weeks later, and started my clerkship four weeks later, in a state I had never been to before (literally on the opposite side of the country).

I was meant to be a lawyer. I now know that now (and my parents were right).

When I’ve doubted it, when others have doubted it, I’m grateful to those who reminded me of it.

These eleven years have been a journey of highs and lows and my wildest dreams. I am so, so grateful.
