6.2.24 Sunday Reset

For the first time in eight years, I don’t have an associate year ending and starting again midyear.

I loved having a midyear, “new year” time. A formal process that forced me to reflect on the past year and prepare goals for the year to come.

There are days I miss being an associate, believe it or not. It became safe and known after 7.5 years.

And yet: being a partner continues to bring a sense of relief, a sense of pause as I learn the ropes, really lean into building a business, and enjoy the transition.

I am grateful. And: I can reflect as we approach the midyear, no matter my title. Tonight, I’ll do just that.
