Billing Time Isn’t the Enemy

In year three of private practice, I stopped letting billable hours control my life. I was a mid-level associate drowning in anxiety at the end of my billable year (and honestly, much more often throughout the year). No: • I didn't quit private practice • I didn't reduce my hours target • I didn't sacrifice quality Instead, I found and implemented a billable hour mastery method. In fact, since I stopped tracking monthly and shifted to daily and weekly management: • I easily hit (and often exceed) my annual target • I reclaimed my weekends and slow seasons • I built a sustainable practice and professional brand The billable hour doesn't have to be your enemy. And 5 years later, I've never been clearer on my why for implementing a system to daily track and enter my time. I now teach others this same method, and they're thriving in #biglaw, too. ❤️ 🔥✌🏻 ---- If you want to learn more about harnessing your POWER to build a sustainable big law career, follow me and repost to spread the word.
