I’ve spent many hours this month working on the business rather than in the business.

It was a few years back when I started thinking about my little office as a solo-practice within a big firm.

That entrepreneurial mindset has opened up so many opportunities for me.

More recently I’ve expanded my identity from attorney to businesswoman.

So much of my professional identity is wrapped up in the law.

And yet: I am a businesswoman.

I like the sound and feel of that.

I have so much to learn. There is so much that can be done.

And I’m really, truly excited about laying that foundation and growing my business from here.
