Earned Media Value

With some nudges from others, I've been thinking about how to value my LinkedIn content--how to show my firm (and others) what it is worth (beyond referrals and potential new clients).

One option is looking at Cost Per Mille--the price of 1,000 impressions on a post.

Conservatively, they estimate that value, on LinkedIn, to be $8 Per Mille.

Then, you look at Earned Media Value--(Impressions / 1000) x Cost Per Mille.

For me, in 2024 so far, that amounts to $22,965--up from $18,899 this time last year.

I don't know what this means, yet, other than: there's something here.
