Email Sign Offs

I do not always say "thank you" or "thanks" at the end of my emails.

I often do not include any sign-off.

Why?

Because I'm not always asking for something.

If I'm simply reporting something, why am I telling you thank you for it?

If I'm not asking you to do anything in response to my email, why am I thanking you for me sending the message?

Is this cold?

Maybe.

But, I am trying to care less about that these days.

If a sign-off doesn't feel genuine, I drop it.

It is not me and I do not apologize for that (at least not as often as I used to).
