First Friday

It is the first Friday of the new associate year and: I’m already behind on my hours.

A major holiday and jury duty will do that to a girl.

The old me would be freaking out—and feeling guilty.

The current me: I know I have plenty of time to catch up.

I know I have a plan that keeps me in the drivers seat.

I know the billable hour doesn’t control me. I control it.

Here’s to getting things done today and steadily catching up the rest of this month.
