It’s cool to be busy.

It’s cool to grind away.

It’s cool to complain.

It’s cool to leave.

And yet, there’s a group of us that like it here.

The tasks are intellectually stimulating.

The work is challenging.

The friendships and relationships are meaningful.

The service (of clients and community) is fulfilling.

The opportunities for personal development are substantive.

The chance to change the profession for the better is right in front of us.

#biglaw is not for everyone.

That is okay.
