Life doesn't always go as planned, but it tends to work out. I often joke that my life is a series of second choices that I've made the most of--Wake Forest, Phoenix for TFA, Ole Miss for law school, Wisconsin for a clerkship--none of these were my first choice, but they all changed my life and made me who I am today (and for the most part, I wouldn't trade a minute of it).
