I recently heard this advice given to new associates.

I wish someone had put it that simply for me.

It is 100% normal to:

😐 Not know what you're doing;

😐 Have doubts;

😐 Have questions upon questions;

😐 Feel lost and maybe alone;

😐 Question if you're cut out for this gig;

😐 Wonder if you made the right decisions or choices or recommendations;

😐 Second guess your draft, research, answer; and

😐 To have many other emotions, feelings, and thoughts like this over the course of your time as a #biglaw associate.

Totally, 1000% normal. I promise.
