September 30, 2023–where has this year gone?

Before I rush into October, a brief reflection on September:

☀️ wrapped up two weeks at home, Labor Day weekend with family, and a road trip back to Wisconsin with my husband;

☀️ enjoyed time with friends and relished the beauty of powerful women living their lives so well;

☀️ welcomed our first year associates—firmwide and in Milwaukee and continued to do my favorite thing about #biglaw: building relationships;

☀️ made the annual trip to Lambeau and saw a thrilling Packer game, where I also ran into a friend from 13 years ago;

☀️ made partner.

This summer has been an opportunity to enjoy my final year as an associate and reflect on the big moves I made in my career these last 12-14 months.

In Q4 2023, I look forward to getting back to the substantive work and preparing for partnership.

I’m ready.
