Recap: January 2024

January 2024--a long, long month.

Before I start attacking next month, I like to reflect on what went down in the month I'm closing out.

This month:

🐶 I got our pups set up at a new vet;

🎙 I interviewed for one podcast, got name dropped on another, and had another interview released to the world;

🤩 I had 587,063 impressions on my LinkedIn content--one of my biggest months to date;

🔊 I got invited to join two panels--for big time associations;

💸 I spent many, many hours working on the business rather than in the business, leading to incredible connections and conversations; and

👩‍💼 I interviewed many 1Ls for our summer associate program openings--always a joyful time.

I will not hit my billable-hour or investment-time goals this month, but that's okay (and more on how I'll adjust in tomorrow's post).

And yet: it was a fulfilling month--my first full month as a partner. I so enjoyed taking the time to focus on my professional and personal development these 31 days. I am ready for what's next.
