SAVERS
Morning routines do not have to be complicated.
I use the SAVERS method:
Silence
Affirmations
Vision
Exercise
Read
Scribe
I like this method because each part is distinct.
Even if I just make it to one letter, I’ve done something just for me that morning.
If I have time later in the day, I can return and pick up a block.
If I have more time than usual, it feels leisurely to spend extra time on each segment.
I can make it what I want and need each day, yet maintaining structure to build the habit.
I think we tend to complicate things in our mind and create anticipated burdens as a reason to not do something (notes on perfectionism for another day).
Five minutes is enough to take a moment only for you each day and start your day off on a positive note.
