Slow Mornings

99% of the time I'm a morning person.

1% of the time, I am highly unmotivated.

When that happens, I:

⭐ Accept it and allow myself to feel those feelings.

⭐ Set a timer--that's when I will get going.

⭐ Envision exactly what my first steps will be when I get going (and maybe keep snoozing or get back in bed after trying and not feeling it or scroll socials).

When that timer goes off, I:

⭐ Turn on some pump-up, motivational music.

⭐ Start tackling those action steps I told myself I'd do when first getting going.

Most times, that's just momentum-building enough to get me going on with my day.

I'm not always ready to take on the day.

That is okay.

I'm human after all.
