Success

June 2020: - Panic attack on a boat during a deep-sea fishing trip. - Considering leaving the law altogether. - No personal brand and a whole lot of burnout. March 2025: - Made partner and more content in big law than ever. - A solid brand, with 19,000+ followers on LinkedIn. - A growing network of referrals (for litigation + speaking). This didn't come from sticking it out or staying in my lane. It was in: → Becoming crystal clear about what I wanted. → Believing the evidence and voices saying I wasn't failing. → Identifying a law-adjacent passion. → Taking a risk to pursue something I was curious about. → Developing and voicing my unique point of view. → Letting go of the fear of what others thought. If you had three wishes for a genie, make one of them the wisdom to let go of perceived expectations. - Pause to check in with what you want. - Learn what change is required to get to what you want. - Go after it with total abandon. You won't regret it. ❤️🔥✌🏻 ---- If you want to learn more about harnessing your POWER to build a sustainable #biglaw career, follow me Emily Logan Stedman and repost to spread the word. #mindfullyemily #emilylitigates #professionalwomen #lawyerwellbeing
