When it comes to cleaning up your inbox, rules are your friend.

One quick fix to clean up your inbox? Make a rule for the word "unsubscribe."

If the email contains that word, it is marked as read and moved to a separate folder (trash if you're bold).

You can then regularly check that folder for newsletters you like to read and ignore the rest (or actually unsubscribe at your leisure).

This has radically cleaned up my personal and professional inboxes.
