What I do.

I am a generalist commercial litigator. I help clients defend and pursue breach of contract claims.

My preferred forum is federal court, for large or complex commercial contract matters.

I also have experience helping clients facing high-volume, nationwide claims.

Someone recently asked, "What's high volume mean?"

Well, in the not-so-distant past, I touched 400+ matters for a client facing consumer notices of dispute, a subset of which escalated to consumer arbitrations.

I like this type of work for several reasons.

First, it supplements my general commercial litigation work.

Second, it allows my project and time management skills to shine.

Third, it helped me build relationships with partners (who then brought me onto bigger matters) and associates (who I helped train in the processes and procedures for this client and who can later help me on bigger cases).

Fourth, on the small percentage of the cases assigned to me that went to consumer arbitration, I'm undefeated in obtaining favorable outcomes and/or dismissals for the client. I am very proud of that.
