Why big law?

I did a full day of OCIs at the University of Wisconsin yesterday.

We asked every single one: why big law?

The answers were all true:

⚖️ complex and fast paced work

⚖️ for sophisticated clients

⚖️ with top notch colleagues

⚖️ locally and across the country

⚖️ wealth of resources

⚖️ structured mentorship and professional development

⚖️ balanced with pro bono opportunities and community involvement networking

#biglaw gets a bad rap, but (again): it is not all bad.

I’ve only ever known big law and except for a few (particularized/unique) moments, it has been one hell of a ride.
