I'm back and I'm a partner.

Whew. It is official and while I was away, I hit 9,000 followers, so let me (re)introduce myself:

I'm Emily--a partner and commercial litigator at Husch Blackwell, a growing and thriving hashtag#AmLaw100 firm with a coast-to-coast presence.

I use this platform to talk about hashtag#lawyerwellbeing and real life in hashtag#biglaw.

With candor and vulnerability, my goal is to show you the human side of a corporate practice.

I got here with a lot of hard work--personally, professionally, internally, and externally.

It was really hard at times, but also really enjoyable and often fun--mostly because of the classmates and colleagues turned friends along the way.

I'm grateful for this community and ready for the year to come.
