Can you use AI ethically?

Very interesting discussion on the other platform about the use of AI in the classroom.

Teachers have strong concerns about the ethics and academic honesty of AI.

I view it as an inevitable future part of the workforce, so something we should teach students how to use now.

This is playing out in real time as law firms, like mine, want attorneys and candidates (including law students) to embrace its use, but law schools treat it inconsistently.

Some ban its use. Some allow its use in certain situations. Some teach about its use. Some haven’t decided what to do yet.

I use it everyday, and, to be frank, some of these teachers have me questioning the ethics of that.
