I played tennis at 730 this morning.

It was amazing.

Until the next player and her dad walked in and started watching the end of my lesson.

Even on the tennis court, I am a head case.

The pressure to perform rarely leaves me.

With age, though, I’m more and more able to turn it off.

I am grateful for the lessons that have brought me here and helped me learn how to do it—even imperfectly.

Now: homemade Swedish pancakes, mimosas, and football.
