This week tested my resolve to "never miss a workout for work."

But, I did it.

I also got in more walking than usual.

Movement has a nearly immediate impact on my mental health.

When I lose it as part of my weekly routine, I feel it deeply.

During my last semester of law school, I started moving daily.

When I moved to Milwaukee, that turned into an intense tennis routine and an almost daily walking commute to work.

Over the last few years, I've lost that.

But, one day at a time, I'm finding my way back.

And I'm grateful.

It helps my mind so much.
