October Reflection

🎃 October is nearly behind us. 🎃

At the end of each month, I like to reflect on what happened.

I’m often surprised at everything that transpired.

It’s a funny little trick my brain plays on me: I know I’ve whirled around like a mad man this month, but what do I have to show for it?

To combat this, I look back at my calendar.

In October, I:

⚖️ completed final prep for and second chaired a jury trial.

☀️ attended my firm industry team retreat, finally meeting so many people I’ve known only virtually these last two years.

🇮🇹 became regulars at a local Italian jaunt.

🏡 had many chats with family, as several of us navigate(d) a stressful time.

🏈 rode the ups and downs of college and professional football.

💡started planning some substantive writing on a statute and found renewed energy for writing here.
