Strengths.

#SundayReset

I've been diving in to the strengths reports my firm provides.

At Husch Blackwell, the goal is to build a strengths based culture.

I for one, love these reports. I feel so, so seen.

It is comforting and exciting.

I have concrete ways to use my strengths to better myself, my teams, and my firm.

I also have explicit examples of blind spots to keep in mind when leading, managing, working, and selling.

A few insights about me, based on my top strengths:

1. My world is best described by the order I create.

2. I crave stable routines, clear rules, and procedures.

3. I love stability and plans, which allow me to assess today's demands and tomorrow's challenges.

4. I may ask too many questions.

5. When I get to teach, I learn and inspire others to grow.

6. I am dependable and I work hard to make a difference every day.

7. Integrity is important to me and, when at my best, I make no excuses and do what I say I will do.

8. I work hard and have stamina, taking immense satisfaction in being busy and productive.

9. It is important to me to leave a legacy and I will try hard to make that happen.

10. I have certain, unchanging core values and have faith in the things that link us all together.

At first, it felt like bragging writing this out. But: we all have strengths. It is wonderful that my colleagues have their own, unique strengths.

We all get to bring them to the table, to apply them, to lean into them.

We can also learn more about one another through these reports. We can learn about our leaders, our colleagues, and those on our teams, learning how to better manage ourselves and others that supports everyone's strengths.

❤️🔥✌️
