It has been a whirlwind 13 days, with two more on the way. Then, hopefully, it'll turn down a notch.

In the midst of this, I hit 16,000 followers, a milestone that once very much seemed impossible--a milestone it once didn't occur to me to strive for.

Followers is not necessarily a statistic that means much, but it does remind me to reintroduce myself and pause to express gratitude for all the encouragement so many of you send my way. So:

Hi, I'm Emily. I'm a commercial litigation partner at Husch Blackwell. My sweet spots are:

🔥 six-figure+ breach of contract claims (pursuing or defending), ideally in federal court;

🔥 high-volume claims requiring project management, processes, and efficiency;

🔥 partnering with clients who need some hand holding as they navigate unexpected (and often disruptive) litigation; and

🔥 consulting with contract holders as they look to break up with counterparties and pursue a walk away (and avoid litigation all together).
