February 2023—Review

February 2023: a ride.

What a weird month--highs and lows all around.

Before I put it in the rearview, were there any wins this month?

Sure:

🌟 I interviewed a host of really impressive 1L candidates for our summer program--like truly impressive.

🌟 We bought our neighbor's Peloton and boy does it feel good to quite literally be back in the saddle.

🌟 Despite some slow days and lots of interviews, I still met my monthly billing goal.

🌟 We went to NYC for a long weekend with our niece and it was magical.

🌟 I did my second Wills For Heroes clinic since they returned to in-person meetings (with another one this weekend).

🌟 I attended two networking events--one long-standing event and a new event--both left me feeling energized.

🌟 I spoke on a panel about tips for practicing in federal court.

🌟 I got to do my favorite thing: talk to law students about real life in #biglaw.
